The cement of the network is the common scholarly interest of its members in models of search and matching. The network has three levels of membership :
Executive and scientific committee members : the network is run by a six-member committee in charge of maintaining the website, organizing the various network events, and managing the network’s finances ;
Regular members : a group of 40 to 60 "regular" network members who commit to attend some fraction of all network meetings ;
PhD student members : students whose advisors are network members and whose research fits into the network’s list of topics.
In addition to those three levels of formal membership, the network maintains a list of "friends", consisting of world-renowned scholars in any of the search-related fields covered by the network. Those "friends" are kept informed of the network’s activities, and are occasionally invited to give keynote lectures at one of the network’s conferences.Top page
