The focus on the workshop will be on the determination of economic status (work, self employment, entrepreneurial activity and so on) when individuals interact in a world with frictions or informational asymmetries. Topics of particular interest are given by, but not limited to, intra-household aspects of labour supply choices, employment creation policies, credit constraints, and transitions between economic states. Submission of theoretical papers and papers with structural econometric evaluations is equally encouraged. Keynote speech of the workshop will be delivered by Prof. Costas Meghir (Yale University).
